Therapeutic Body Authority
Clear expectations. No surprises.
Mobile sessions run more smoothly when timing, access, payment, and communication are handled upfront. Please review these policies before requesting an appointment.
Booking and deposits
A deposit equal to 25% of the scheduled service price is required to reserve an appointment.
When the appointment is completed as scheduled, the deposit is applied toward the total service price. The remaining balance is due at the appointment.
An inquiry, email, or conversation alone does not hold an appointment time.
Cancellations and rescheduling
All deposits are nonrefundable when the client cancels an appointment, regardless of how much notice is provided.
A client may request a new appointment, but rescheduling is limited to the therapist’s next available opening. A particular date or time cannot be guaranteed.
The rescheduled appointment is considered a new booking and requires a new 25% deposit.
Client lateness and access
Clients must be ready and able to provide access at the scheduled start time. Client-caused delays reduce the time available for the session, and the reserved service price remains due.
Client-caused delays include:
- Providing an incorrect or incomplete address
- Failing to provide a gate or entry code
- Delays at a security desk or building entrance
- Missing parking, elevator, or property-access instructions
- Not being present or ready at the scheduled time
- Not having the service area accessible and prepared
If a client-caused delay exceeds 30 minutes, the appointment is cancelled, no service is provided, and the deposit is forfeited.
If the therapist is late
If the therapist arrives late for a reason within her control, the client’s 25% deposit will be refunded and the full scheduled session will still be provided.
The client will be responsible only for the remaining balance of the service.
This refund does not apply when the delay was caused by incorrect or missing information from the client, difficulty accessing the property, an omitted gate code, or another client-caused obstacle.
Preparing for a mobile session
The client is responsible for providing a clean, safe, and accessible working area with enough room for the service and equipment.
- Provide complete arrival and parking instructions in advance
- Make sure the therapist can enter the property promptly
- Clear enough space for the massage table and safe movement
- Secure pets that could interrupt the session or equipment setup
- Maintain a professional and respectful environment
Health and session safety
Clients must disclose health conditions, injuries, recent procedures, allergies, pregnancy, medications, or other information that could affect the safety of massage therapy.
Please contact the therapist before the appointment if you develop a fever, contagious illness, unexplained rash, or another condition that may make massage inappropriate.
The therapist may modify, postpone, or decline a service when massage would be unsafe or outside the appropriate scope of practice. Massage therapy does not replace medical diagnosis or treatment.
Professional conduct
All services are strictly professional and therapeutic. Appropriate draping and professional boundaries are maintained throughout the session.
The therapist may immediately end or refuse a session because of sexual comments or conduct, harassment, threats, intoxication, illegal activity, unsafe conditions, or intentionally misleading information. When a session is refused or ended because of client conduct or an unsafe environment, the deposit is not refunded.
